Holy moly!

I haven't updated this blog in about 9 months. That sucks.

Anyway, I can't promise I'll do anything with it in the future. On the other hand I just might.
I've been meaning to write more, but adulthood has made my mind so incredibly numb. It's a shame. Another disappointment coming with age.

Tired of all this...

When the Belgian government was actually formed a couple of months ago after endless battering, they set a date by which a federal reformation should have been decided and agreed on paper. If else, the government would fall and more than one coalition partner would step back and leave the government. This date was set on July 15th 2008. Next week!

As usual talks are stuck, things are left undecided and things are looking bad. A whole lot of time and money is being wasted on bullshit! People like Bart De Wever and Yves Leterme have brought us nothing but misfortune. A little over a year from the last elections and we are still stuck with a status quo. We are definitely heading nowhere, or worst case scenario: our country down the drain.

REAL political situations and crisises have come up; foodprices, indexes, oilprices, growing poverty, loss of consumer confidence, and what not! But what are they still talking about? The endless fights are about who speaks what language in which city. We are waving our flags, discussing borders and hurting our neighbours, our blood, our people over nothing and meanwhile people are waiting for solutions.

Mr Prime Minister, get your head out of your ass NOW! People will not continue to stand for this.

Last night, in an exciting game against arch enemies Anderlecht RSC, STANDARD claimed the victory and the title! 25 years of longing for this glorious moment, it's finally become reality!
